Feeling All F'd Up...

I have been feeling a bit lost as of late. Anyone else with me? At the beginning of the pandemic, I was appreciating the extra time to rest and regroup. But now that things are somewhat back to normal, I have to admit that I have hit a rough patch. I feel like the rest of the world is moving on and I’m stuck in neutral. I’m lacking motivation and spend my days a bit scattered and unfocused. I seem to have lost my WHY. I clean A LOT just to feel somewhat productive. I know that this is temporary but damn, this week I feel like a salmon swimming upstream and not sure where I’m headed.

As I write this, I realize that I already have all the tools I need to help recenter myself: my breath, my mind, and my body! I know that if I do some deep breathing, meditation, and journaling that I’ll probably feel better. I know if I get outside and move my body things will shift. Sometimes just changing my environment or reaching out to a friend can shift my entire perspective on life.

I am trying to give myself grace when I have weeks like this. If you are having a day or week like this too, know you are not alone!
